Welcome to another CineForum movie night! This time, the theme is entrepreneurship, with a Francis Ford Coppola classic, co-produced with George Lucas and starring Jeff Bridges.

“Tucker: The Man and His Dream” is the true story of Preston Tucker, inventor, innovator, and indefatigable entrepreneur, who has to face seemingly unsurmountable challenges to see his dream come true. His futuristic automobile, the Tucker Torpedo, filled with design and technological innovations way ahead of their time, represents a serious challenge to the status quo, leading the automobile industrial complex to engage the forces of government to crush the idea. Tucker needs to move fast, recruiting the best team, securing difficult to find material resources and raising venture funding, to bring his product to market before his time runs out. “Tucker” is a true and entertaining tale of entrepreneurial passion, resilience and creative imagination at the service of personal achievement and societal progress.
