Bitcoin Workshop and Socratic Seminar 13

Our 13th Socratic Seminar event will be held at our typical location No. 9 LiShui St. Da’An Dist. Taipei.

We will begin with a beginner-friendly workshop hosted by [Evan Lin](https://twitter.com/evanlinjin). The workshop will cover the basics of the Bitcoin transaction structure, what is a coin and coin selection when constructing a transaction. There will be a practical aspect to this workshop. Evan Lin is funded by [Spiral](https://spiral.xyz/) (Block Inc.) and works on [BDK](https://bitcoindevkit.org/) (Bitcoin Dev Kit) full time. BDK is a library written in Rust that makes lives easier for wallet developers.

Our monthly Socratic Seminar aims to foster debate, information sharing, and open discussion among attendees. In the weeks leading up to the event, members of the group gather and curate discussion topics from various sources such as popular git repositories (e.g. Bitcoin Core, lnd, c-lightning, rust-bitcoin, Joinmarket, WasabiWallet), research papers, technical blog posts, IRC logs, network monitors, and more. Through lively and engaging discussions, we explore a range of developments and trade-offs in progress related to Bitcoin, including industry updates and press releases. Some events feature presentations from open-source projects, companies, research, and other related content, followed by feedback and Q&A. Afterward, we socialize over food and drinks in the venue. We encourage all attendees to contribute to the discussion topics on GitHub, and we look forward to hearing from you.

我們的第13次蘇格拉底式研討會將在我們的典型場所台北市大安區麗水街9號舉行。

我們將從Evan Lin主持的初學者友善的工作坊開始。此工作坊將介紹比特幣交易結構的基礎，什麼是硬幣以及在構建交易時的硬幣選擇。此工作坊將有一個實踐方面。Evan Lin由Spiral (Block Inc.)資助，並全職從事BDK (比特幣開發套件) 的工作。BDK是用Rust編寫的庫，使錢包開發者的生活變得更加輕鬆。
