**BITCOIN IN YOUR SELF-MANAGED SUPERANNUATIOIN FUND**

The promise of superannuation is that the compulsory savings accrued will provide for you in retirement and old age. But such a promise is only as good as the value of the currency units in which the balance is denominated.

Some may assume they’ll be comfortable with a few million dollars in a few decades time, but with unremitting fiat currency debasement, how far will that get you if a Big Mac costs $5000?

Bitcoiners are well aware of the mathematical improbability that the promises of the fiat system will be able to be made good on in future decades so they have been storing their savings in something that doesn’t require their blind trust, that cannot be perverted and debased: Bitcoin.

Those who’ve been doing this have not only maintained the purchasing power of everything they put in, they’ve vastly increased it. Their savings have not only outpaced inflation, but every other asset class too.

Unlike traditional financial instruments, you can take self-custody of your Bitcoin superannuation, removing the fruits of your labour from the clutches of a failing fiat-based system and parasitic financial industry and you can cross borders with it, without asking permission, in times of crisis.

It therefore stands to reason that anyone who understands this and wants some real security in retirement should want at least some of their superannuation in Bitcoin.
