Learn about bitcoin – how to use it, why it’s important, and gather together with other people interested in the native currency of the internet.
As stated above, this is a BITCOIN meetup. Bitcoin is fundamentally different from all other cryptos. It’s the only truly decentralized form of money that can replace fiat currencies. Just as the separation between church and state vastly changed how society functioned, bitcoin separates money from state.
The goal is NOT to get rich quick. We are NOT gambling on different cryptocurrencies. While bitcoin has certainly raised the net worth of many people, we view bitcoin’s adoption as a long-term process. We will NOT be discussing which other cryptocurrencies to buy and sell in hopes of making profits.
