Bitcoin Tax specialist Adam Ahmed will be sharing some helpful information to hopefully deal with that and help you avoid donating extra.

🌏 SPEAKERS:

**Adam Ahmed**

Adam is a dual-qualified solicitor and chartered accountant specialising in tax and contracts. Adam regularly advises clients on tax audits and disputes and is able to assist on both the accounting and legal side, achieving significant reductions and settlements with the ATO with respect to tax liabilities. Adam has also acted for taxpayers in the Federal Court and the Administrative Appeals Tribunal. Recently, Adam has become a thought leader on cryptocurrency, superannuation and tax disputes and settlements with the ATO. Adam was the founder and chair of the tax law committee of the law society (young lawyers) and is also a published author for Thomson Reuters, his works include International Tax, Deductions and Income.

**Lucas Soriano**

Lucas is a software engineer and researcher at 10101. He has spent the last 5 years working on building Bitcoin applications, with a particular interest in designing and implementing cryptographic protocols to use Bitcoin in interesting ways without compromising self-custody.
