The purpose of Bitcoin is stated in the [White Paper:](https://bitcoin.org/bitcoin.pdf) *”Commerce on the Internet has come to rely almost exclusively on the financial institutions serving as trusted third parties to process electronic payments ….. What is needed is an electronic payment system ….. without a trusted party”.*
Today this vision is a reality! Some people are attracted by the idea of gaining wealth by hodling Bitcoin, some are attracted by the original purpose of Bitcoin.
[Lando Rothbardian](https://www.linkedin.com/in/lawrence-a-k-a-lando-rothbardian-55b078194/) is an early adopter and a core-purpose-contributor to the Bitcoin space.
